Voted as one of the most popular fonts of 2009, CALLUNA™ is a nice slab serif text font with enough character and visual interest for display purposes. It is very versatile typeface; the lighter weights are perfect for large expanses of text, while the bold and black weights are robust, yet stylish and refined, even at display sizes.
Designer Jos Buivenga (exljbris) described it as “my first attempt to make a (serious) text typeface.” Created over the span of 1 and 1/2 years, the Calluna font family includes 8 font variations (5 weights and 3 italics), all with an extensive character set (Over 720 glyphs) and OpenType features.
