Kilimanjaro Summit Reached!

On July 17th at 6:50 AM Tanzania time, our friends and Climb for the Cause founders Olivia and Clif Simonson reached Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Mt. Kilimanjaro. The 19,340 foot climb took 10 days and raised almost $100,000 for the AGSS Memorial Foundation.

Ionia Design Studio has just completed a website development project for ORG by vio.

ORG by vio acts as “an umbrella for promoting and selling Amazon crafts.” They work with Amazonian artisans to develop, market and sell hand-crafted goods (at fair-trade prices). Additionally, 50% of the company’s profits are donated back to the artist’s resident communities.

An e-commerce section of the site is currently in development.

Ionia Design Studio has recently completed designing a new brochure for Ventura County’s Senior Nutrition Action Council.

S.N.A.C is a great local charitable organization that strives to raise awareness of the Ventura County Senior Nutrition Program throughout the county. The organization also raises operating funds for the program through fundraising events, promotional activities and the operation of the SNAC Thrift Store.

Ionia Design Studio donated all design services for the new brochure, which will be used for informational and marketing purposes and for outreach to potential sponsors and volunteers.

Ionia Design Studio is now a reseller for EcoPaper®.

A division of Costa Rica Natural, Ecopaper® is the first eco-friendly brand of tree-free paper that uses only recycled materials and does not add to the destruction of endangered forests.

BeachSide CrossFit is bringing a strength and conditioning program used by many police academies and military special operations units to Ventura, CA, and will be opening their new studio soon
